What ZooTrek Does—and What It Does Not Do

ZooTrek provides transport services for animals between organizations that have agreed to receive them. Our role is focused on coordination, logistics, and ensuring animals are moved safely and efficiently.

Once an animal is transferred, the receiving organization assumes responsibility for its care, evaluation, and any decisions that follow. These organizations operate independently and make determinations based on their own resources, policies, and professional judgment.

ZooTrek does not control post-transfer outcomes. Our role is to expand access to available capacity by connecting animals with organizations that are able to receive them.

This structure allows more animals to be moved into environments where care and resources are available, rather than remaining in a single location with limited capacity.
